Yes, it’s sandals x 3! I bought three sandals last evening :). I’m not really fond of shoes, or sandals for that matter. But, the sandals that I’ve been using most of the time for the past 7 months or so is already worn out. I have other sandals, but that was the most comfortable one for me.

I wouldn’t have bought new pairs if I’m not concerned with my safety. I almost trip on some occasions! Now that I have three comfy sandals that I can use for work or malling, I hope it will take at least 1 1/2 years for me to replace them. I hope that’s possible!

Gareth & I immediately liked Grey’s Anatomy the first time we saw it on TV.  It’s plot –> a drama centered on the personal and professional lives of five surgical interns and their supervisors. I like it, but didn’t have time to watch it every week. Now, i was able to catch it again.. but i’m watching it alone.. i miss my hon.. we are both such couch potatoes.. spending a lot of our time in front of the TV set. Well, going back to Grey’s Anatomy, i will be posting a quote from tonight’s episode.. The quote is by Meredith, as addressed to Derek:

Meredith is asking Derek to choose between her and his wife (yes, she’s the "other woman"). But that’s not the reason why I’m posting this quote :).. I just liked how Meredith described her love for Derek, plus the fact that it’s the girl who’s asking the guy makes it more interesting. It’s such a joy to express one’s love to another person.

Finally, after many weeks of no progress sa wedding preps, two things were accomplished today. Tess (my coordinator) gave the 50% down payment to Merlene Marcelo for my bridal gown. Yipee, I can add another supplier to my weddingannouncer site.

She was also able to schedule my trial make-up with Chichi Sotomil on June 6. Tess was able to get a good discount from Chichi should I decide to get her as my make-up artist after the trial session. I am really hoping she will do a good job. I’m putting too much confidence with her, so I will be very disappointed if the trial will not turn out well. As a proof of that confidence, I haven’t scheduled a 2nd trial make-up with another artist during my June vacation. If she will not do good, I will book toto, eddie or madge (in order of preference). I just hope that at least one of them is still free by June 6. Otherwise, it will be very hard for me to choose another make-up artist without a trial session.

I’m having a hard time time choosing a hair & makeup artist for me & my entourage. My wedding is not until January 9, 2007, but I am already choosing an artist so that I can schedule a trial hair & makeup on our June vacation in Manila.

Another thing that makes it difficult for me to choose is the budget. I didn’t know that hair & makeup expense costs this much! Plus, my coordinator suggested to have different makeup artists for me and the entourage for different make-up palettes. I think I somehow agree on this, but that is more costly. I hope I can make up my mind soon :).. By the way, here are the rates that I have inquired so far. I’m posting this so that my hon who is out of SG right now can also view this.

Back-to-back posts here.. hehehe.. just wanted to recount my bus misadventure today.. since this happened in the morning, will include the other routines in the morning as well…

My work day usually starts with a wakeup call from my alarm clock.. it’s set at 7:15AM. My alarm clock and my watch are 15 minutes in advance, btw.. same thing for all of our wall clocks at home. After the 7:15 AM  alarm, just snooze… then snooze, then snooze… then, my cell fone sounds its 7:30AM alarm… snooze again, then snooze… ouch! nasipa ako ni Nathan (my son).. gosh! what a wake-up call!  8AM na! stay muna sa bed, 5 minutes, while looking at my cute kiddo in slumber. After that, fast shower.. my fast shower btw lasts for at least 20 minutes hehehe.. By the time I’m finished with my shower, gising na si Nathan. He’s probably awakened by the sound of the shower in the toilet.. syempre greet, kiss & hug muna with my kiddo… talk to him while preparing myself.. by the time I’m dressed up, 8:40 AM na! had to prepare my breakfast pa, then put my lunch in the paper bag.. then I’m off.. just make sure that Nathan’s not looking while I leave the house.. otherwise, another delay na naman..

My morning trip is always fast-paced.. I’m a fast-walker btw.. I will walk to Simei MRT from Eastpoint Green in 8 minutes.. will wait for the MRT to Boon Lay.. will alight at Bugis station to take Bus 133 to Suntec… this is where the misadventure began this morning… Arriving at the bus stop near Bugis station at 9:16AM at my watch, I’m pretty sure I missed it.. dapat kasi before 9:15AM andun na ‘ko. hmph, cge wait n lng tuloy.. come bus #2, 12, 960.. off they go.. then here comes bus #2, 12 and 960 again! where’s bus 133??

i checked out the posted bus numbers just to know kung lahat n ba ng bus eh dumaan na at wala pa rin ang 133 ko… i noticed there’s bus 33 also.. i thought,  since wala pa akong napapansing bus 33 in the many weeks that I’ve been waiting at that bus stop, baka weekend bus lang sya… a few minutes more.. there comes bus 133, and another bus 133A following it.. wow, 2 options pa for me.. but i will just take the first bus.. however, ung bus ko nilampasan ang bras basah rd! dapat kaliwa na sya dun from victoria st ah… di ba alam ni uncle driver ang kanyang route?? so tinanong ko si uncle.. "uncle, this is bus 133 right?"… "no, this is 33"… whhaaat?? hehehe..hindi naman ako napasigaw, naisip ko lang.. phiya ako.. before approaching uncle ksi, i was giving him the "do you know where you’re going?" look.. cge baba na lang ako sa next bus stop.. waaahhh.. nagmamadali pa naman ako.. halos hingalin ako para makaabot agad sa MRT.. i can’t believe this is happening!!! i’m really very very late.. waah.. ayun, I walked to city hall station.. took the 9:30 AM shuttle to Suntec… arrived at the office at almost 10AM in my watch.. gosh.. late na naman ako

Wow! Totoo ba to?? May blog na ako?? hehehe.. we’ll i’m glad I have one now.. whether I can really keep this, only time can tell. But I do hope I will always have the time to make this blog up-to-date. Actually, I never imagined signing with Friendster blog.. I created an account with blogger.com tonight, but sad to say, I couldn’t login. Eh ngayon ko kaya feel gumawa ng blog account and mag-post.. so here I am.. using Friendster blog. I couldn’t really tell if this is OK since I have no point of comparison, but so far it’s easy to use, user-friendly ang Friendster :).

So, what are the factors that will help me continue blogging?? I think these things will:

1. Time - I know I have many things on the side right now, work, wed preps, my kiddo, my hubby, my other personal goals.. i just hope I will be granted with the gift of proper time management to really find time to blog.

2. Interest - I hope I won’t lose interest in blogging… of course, pag mawala to.. even if there are events really worth telling, if I’m not interested or if tinamad ako, no blog pa rin :(.. i hope that I’m always motivated.

3. Working laptop - how can I blog if I don’t have the equipment?? hehehe.. of course, dapat laging in good condition tong luma kong laptop… I’ll try to do away from blogging at work, so I only have my old laptop to use at home.. i’ll try to do that just to achieve the proper time management thingy.. but I think blogging from the office is inevitable din.. cguro pag blog addict na ako lol..

So far, these are the factors I can think of…. so there goes my first post.. buena mano
